Regulation for awarding the Pago Points
(„The Regulation”)

All terms written in capitals not defined here in have the meaning from the Terms and Conditions for using the Application available here.

SECTION 1
WHAT ARE AND HOW DO PAGO POINTS WORK?

1.1. Pago Points represent a reward, under the form of virtual points associated to the account of the User, which the respective User may acquire depending on the activities it fulfils within the Pago App.

1.2. Pago Points obtained by the User may be used by the respective User, after obtaining them, to pay, partially or totally, the value of the available services in the Pago App.

1.3. Pago Points may not be used outside the Pago App, and the User may not ask the Company to convert Pago Points afferent to its account from Pago App, into amounts of money or other benefits.

1.4. Pago Points are available and granted to the Users starting with 20.08.2018 (The “ Preliminary Starting Date”), by stages. Consequently, starting with 10.09.2018, Pago Points are available and awarded to all Users (the “General Starting Date”). The Users performing activities within the Pago App for which Pago Points may be awarded, according to Section 2 below, before the Preliminary Starting Date, respectively the General Starting Date, as the case may be, may not obtain and may not claim Pago Points, as they may not be awarded retroactively.

1.5. The Company may decide, at any moment, to suspend or to cease the awarding of Pago Points within the Pago App, in which case it will inform the Users by e-mail and with the help of an announcement within the Pago App.

1.6. At the same time, the Company may modify the awarding conditions, the number of Pago Points, the value of such Pago Points and any other details regarding the functioning of the Pago Points mechanism, without previously informing the Users.

1.7. In order to award the Pago Points, the Company will not process any additional personal data of the Users, or based on grounds and purposes others than those described in the Policy for Personal Data Processing available here.

SECTION 2
THE METHOD OF AWARDING AND CONVERTING THE PAGO POINTS

2.1. The Users who meet the conditions necessary for creating an account within and using the Pago App (according to the Terms and Conditions of use available here) will receive, as from the Preliminary Starting Date or the General Starting Date, as the case may be, the following number of Pago Points for the activities below:

2.1.1. Creating the User’s account within the Pago App = 150 points;

2.1.2. Connecting the first online account as Approved Supplier = 50 points;

2.1.3. Connecting other Approved Suppliers online accounts = 25 points/supplier;

2.1.4. The first payment of an invoice from the connected account = 25 points;

2.1.5. The subsequent payments for a connected account, given that it is made before the due date = 7 points;

2.1.6. The first payment of an invoice by scanning the bar code afferent to the invoice = 15 points;

2.1.7. The payment of the subsequent invoices by scanning the bar codes = 5 points;

2.1.8. The first crediting of a mobile number with a value of minimum 5 EUR = 25 points;

2.1.9. The subsequent crediting of a mobile number with a value of minimum 3 EUR = 15 points;

2.1.10. Adding the first car in Insurance section = 100 points;

2.1.11. Concluding the first medical insurance for travelling (travel insurance) = 50 points / day covered by that policy with a maximum limit of 1000 points.

2.1.12. Concluding any subsequent medical insurance for travelling (travel insurance) = 25 points / day covered by that policy with a maximum limit of 1000 points.

2.1.13. For using the Share Pago with friends option, available in the Pago App, the following points will be awarded:

2.1.13.1. 200 points, awarded both to the User who distributed their unique link to their contacts as well as to the individual who accessed the link, created a User account and made a bill payment from the Pago App; for the avoidance of any doubt, the conditions mentioned above are cumulative, the points being awarded at the moment when the last condition indicated was met, namely the first payment of a utility bill by the individual who becomes a user;

2.1.13.2. 100 points, awarded to the User who distributed their unique link and 2 persons from their list of contacts have fulfilled the conditions mentioned at point 2.1.13.1 above;

2.1.13.3. 300 points, awarded to the User who distributed their unique link and 5 persons from their list of contacts have fulfilled the conditions mentioned at point 2.1.13.1 above;

2.1.13.4. 500 points, awarded to the User who distributed their unique link and 10 persons from their list of contacts have fulfilled the conditions mentioned at point 2.1.13.1 above;

2.1.13.5. 1000 points, awarded to the User who distributed their unique link and 20 persons from their list of contacts have fulfilled the conditions mentioned at point 2.1.13.1 above; for the avoidance of any doubt, the points awarded as per points 2.1.13.2 – 2.1.13.5. above will be awarded only at the moment when the indicated number of users in each article is reached.

2.1.14. (starting October 16, 2019) for the activities performed through the Donate with Pago (Donează cu Pago) functionality available in the Pago Application and the Site, the following points will be awarded:

2.1.14.1. Creating a User account within the Pago App through the special link sent to him/her at the time of confirmation of the donation made through the Site = 200 points. These points will be given to the user who, after making a donation through the Site, created a User Account within the Pago Application through the special link sent to him at the time the donation was confirmed. For clarity, a User who already has an account created within the Pago Application will not be able to receive these points.

2.1.14.2. For each donation payment made as part of a recurring monthly donation, as follows:

- 200 Points for a recurring monthly donation of minimum 20 RON

- 500 Points for a recurring monthly donation of minimum 50 RON

- 1000 Points for a recurring monthly donation of minimum 100 RON

2.1.15. Connecting the first online Ghiseul account = 100 points;

2.2. Also, the Company may decide to award Pago Points also for activities within the Pago App, distinct from those provided at point 2.1. above, or it may decide to cease awarding Pago Points for one or more activities provided at point 2.1. above.

2.3. Each Pago Point represents the counter value of 1 ban (0,01 RON).

2.4. The Pago Points obtained during one calendar month are valid until the elapse of 6 calendar months as from the month following the one when the respective Pago Points are obtained.

2.5. Pago Points which a User holds are acquired automatically during the activities it carries out in Pago App. At the same time, the Pago App may be used at the moment when the User makes a payment within Pago App, insofar as it chooses it when making the payment, following the instructions in the Pago App. At the same time, the Pago App may be used at the moment when the User makes a payment within Pago App, insofar as it chooses it when making the payment, following the instructions in the Pago App. The Company may limit the quota of Pago Points that may be used as part of an entire payment.

2.6. At the moment when the User wants to make a payment within the Pago App, it will be informed in relation with the value of the payment to be made and the possibility to make the payment by using the Pago Points, respectively the number of Pago Points which it must use, together with the possible difference remaining to be paid from the amount to be paid. By confirming the payment, the number of Pago Points available in its account as a User will decrease with the number of Pago Points used for the payment of the mentioned invoice.

2.7. In order to find out the number of Pago Points it holds, the User may access the Pago Points section in the Pago App.

2.8. The transaction afferent to any made payment must be finalized with success, the User receiving the proof in this sense by e-mail, so as to be considered as giving the right for awarding some Pago Points, according to this Regulation.

2.9. Rules regarding the use of Pago Points related to the Benefit Voucher

2.9.1. The Pago Points received as a result of using the Benefit Voucher can be used for full or partial payment of invoices, for mobile credit top-ups and for making donations within the Donate with Pago campaign. For clarity, the Pago Points related to the Benefit Voucher cannot be used to pay insurances or taxes.

2.9.2. Pago Points received as a result of using the Benefit Voucher may be used for twenty-four (24) months from the time they were allocated to the User as a result of using the Benefit Voucher.

SECTION 3
OTHER PROVISIONS

3.1. Deleting the User’s account within the Pago App triggers the loss of all Pago Points previously accumulated by that User.

3.2. The User may not ask the Company to transfer the Pago Points which belong to it to any other User or to another account of the same User.

3.3. The Company guarantees that the payment of certain amounts of money within the Pago App, using Pago Points, is a payment method agreed by the Approved Suppliers present within the Pago App.

3.4. The Company reserves its right to fully or partially annul Pago Points gained by a User, without prior notice, in any of the following example cases:

  • the User has created multiple user accounts in the Pago App, in order to obtain a larger number of Pago Points altogether;
  • the User uses Pago Points in a manner affecting the integrity and/or functioning of the Pago App, or harms the Company’s activity.

3.5. In case of serious and/or repeated offenses of this regulation, the Company may decide to suspend or delete the User’s account, informing the User in advance of such a decision.
